About Team Shalva
play_circleThis November, 160 Israeli runners will travel to New York to take on the NYC Marathon with Team Shalva.
For many, running is more than a sport, it is a source of strength, resilience, and hope. This year, Team Shalva will run in memory of three members of our extended family whose lives ended far too soon: Maj. (res.) Harel Birenstock, a Team Shalva runner who was killed in the line of duty in Lebanon; Neta HaLevi, the seven-year-old son of a longtime Team Shalva runner; and Gabi Harow, a former Team Shalva runner.
Following the marathon, join our runners, friends, and supporters for Dinner for Champions - an evening that brings our Israeli and American communities together to celebrate an extraordinary achievement, honor those we carry with us, and stand together in hope.
All proceeds benefit Shalva and its work supporting people with disabilities and their families throughout Israel.
